TSFF 2022 took place on June 11th and 12th, 2022 at Innis Town Hall, featuring 14 films from 8 countries that competed for awards this year. In addition, TSFF presented films from the annual 48-Hour Smartphone Film Challenge and a special presentation of selections from the 2021 Korean Parallel Smartphone Film Festival was featured on the final day of TSFF 2022.
For the very first time, 12 representatives from the Korean Parallel Smartphone Film Festival (KPSFF) attended the festival. In addition, 5 representatives from the YeCheon International Smartphone Film Festival also attended, including director Bong Man-dae.
Mingu Kim, Festival Director at TSFF, shared his thoughts on celebrating the festival’s 10 year anniversary. “We have come a long way and it is hard to believe that it has been already 10 years.
Overall, it was a great experience to meet our filmmakers in person and watch them interact with our audiences after a 2 year hiatus. We look forward to our next adventure and hope to bring more communities together through smartphone filmmaking.”
