Mississauga: The Mississauga Mandarin Association has had its annual signature event “The Spring Fair 2017” celebrating the Chinese New Year of the Rooster on February 11th, 2017, at the Coptic Church in Mississauga.
The event includes performance, lion dances, show case of kung fu, Chinese food, games for children, photography studio, Chinese calligraphies and drawings, exhibition of hand-made post cards, and lots more.
About two thousands Mississauga residents, along with nearly thirty politicians and community leaders and people from the surrounding area attended the event. The mayor of Mississauga MS. Bonnie Crombie joined the crowd and appreciated the cultural contribution from the Chinese community.
