Mississauga (July 13, 2017) The Amacon Mississauga Rotary Ribfest is without doubt the pre-eminent food and music festival in the city of Mississauga. What ignited in 2003 as an idea for a community barbecue party has evolved into one of Mississauga’s most anticipated Celebration Square Festivals. With about 100,000 people attending 12 Ribbers, in addition to the cuisine options from 20 other food vendors, which include other Barbecue, Asian, Jerk, Vegetarian, Halal options and some wicked Desserts!

As a major music festival, we host a hot blend of Indie, pop, rock, country, and swing bands for one of the most unique band lineups in the city. This is a great event for families to spend the whole weekend at Celebration Square enjoying great food and music, while kids can enjoy games, a water attraction, and much more.

All Proceeds go to the Rotary Club of Mississauga and the Rotary Club of Mississauga-West. Who in turn take the funds collected to support charities and causes in the local community that feed the hungry, improve education and support community programs from children to seniors.
