TORONTO: Rashmi Academy of Performing Arts in association with Moksha Canada Foundation is organizing an event to commemorate Legendary Indian Kathak Maestro PadmaVibhushan Pt Birju Maharaj Ji. He was a stature of National Pride and a prominent personality in the field of dance who devoted his entire life to the promotion of Indian Culture and Heritage. He had popularized Kathak not only in India but in every part of the world and had been felicitated with many accolades.
January 17th, 2023 marks his first death anniversary. On this occasion, Rashmi Academy of Performing Arts is planning to organize a cultural program and pay tribute to him. Details of which is shared below
