IWD Women Achiever Awards 2018: It’s the time for Nominations!

Toronto: Dancing Damsels (DD) Inc.- a non-profit multicultural organization for arts promotions and women empowerment, invites nominations for IWD Women Achiever Awards 2018 to honour greatness amongst women achievers. The Women Achiever Awards will get conferred to eligible nominees during the upcoming International Women’s Day celebrations to be held on Saturday March 3, 2018 at the Toronto City Hall (100 Queen St W, Toronto, ON M5H 2N2)

Hon. Hazel McCallion – Former Mayor of Mississauga, Dr. Roberta Bondar – First Canadian Female Astronaut & First Neurologist in Space, Hon. Indira Naidoo-Harris MP – Minister of Status of Women and Dr. Asha Seth – Former Senator, were some of the past recipients of the DD Women Achiever Awards

Eligible nominees are entitled to receive the DD Women Achiever Award for their valued contribution and participation in the community in the recognized fields of: politics, music, community leadership, volunteering, performing arts, science, technology, hospitality, sports, literature, business, healthcare, media and communication. DD Inc. is also pleased to present special award recognitions: ‘Rising Star Award” for Youths who are good role models and demonstrate leadership in their communities and ‘Lifetime Achiever Award’ for women who distinguish themselves through life long outstanding community service and continued excellence in the course of their career.
