Toronto: Mississauga Chinese New Year Gala – hosted by Mississauga Chinese Arts Organization (MCAO) to celebrate 2017 Chinese New Year with the Chinese community in Greater Toronto Area (GTA) will be held on 15th January, 2017Â @ 7 pm at Hammerson Hall, Living Arts Center, Mississauga.
With over 1,300 audiences, including officials, community leaders, sponsors, new and local Canadians, this Gala has been consistently and proudly presented for 7 consecutive years, and is the largest and also is the most influential in the Chinese community in GTA.
Over 200 volunteer performers from diverse linguistic and cultural backgrounds, performing in this the Gala to make it an epitome of multiculturalism. Not only the traditional Chinese culture, folk art and modern art, but also the Canadian art and other ethnic groups are vividly displayed in this Gala. Various forms of art, such as dancing, singing, recital, magic show, sitcom and crosstalk, are meticulously prepared and rehearsed to entertain the audiences.
