Toronto (ON) – Canadian Music Week, Canada’s Largest & Longest Running New Music Festival and Conference, is pleased to return for the 37th instalment taking place May 6 -122019, bringing conferences, awards, film, technology and music to the city of Toronto.
The music festival will kick off CMW on May 6going through to May 12 across more than 40 venues in downtown Toronto. The Sheraton Centre Toronto Hotel (123 Queen St W) will once again be host to the various industry conferences (radio, technology, music) running May 9 – May 11. The Canadian Radio Music Awards, Live Music Industry Awards, INDIES, Canadian Music & Broadcast Industry Awards and Sync Awards will return to CMW and will be announced in the future.
Canadian Music Week takes pride in welcoming international artists and key industry players from around the world, and is thrilled to feature the first official Spotlight on South Africa in 2019. In association with CAAMA, CMW will be hosting labels, booking agents, festival organizers, promoters, talent buyers and industry specialists from the entertainment sectors, opening new trade routes for Canadians who are interested in furthering opportunities with these key international markets as part of the Spotlight on South Africa.
