Nikke Natak Vaddiaan Gallan:An Evening of Punjabi Culture & Entertainment

Brampton (5 November, 2019): Punjabi Arts Association Of Toronto (PAA) proudly brings you ‘Punjabi Shorts – Nikke Natak Vaddiaan Gallan’, an evening of three short dramas to be mounted at the historical Lester B Pearson Theatre in Brampton on Sunday, November 10, 2019, at 5:00 PM.

“The team is working hard behind the scenes to bring stories based on different genres, each offering a compelling message. I hope to see theatre lovers come with their families and connect with these socially relevant dramas.” said Baljinder Lailna, secretary and spokesperson for Punjabi Arts Association Of Toronto.

The three socially relevant dramas are based on different genres and promise a compelling watch for audiences of all ages. The featured drama “Eh Lahoo Kis Da Hai”, directed by Jasleen Kaur, is based on the story and teachings of Guru Nanak Dev Ji. The play “Taxi Number 242”, directed by well-known theatre actor Jagvinder Judge, is a monologue depicting an emotional day in the life of a Taxi driver. The third play of the evening “Natak Nahi” is a hilarious and a hard-hitting social satire, originally written by Pt. Laxmi Kant Vaishnava and adapted/directed by Preet Sangha for the Nikke Natak Vaddiyaan Gallan series.
