Taste of India Food Festival on August 5 @ Nathan Philips Square, Toronto

Toronto (July 13, 2017): In collaboration with Young Canadian Alliance, School of Flavours celebrates CANADA 150 and presents TASTE OF INDIA food festival on August 5, 2017 at Nathan Phillips Square, 100 Queen St W, Toronto M5H 2N2 from 12:00 Noon to 10:00 pm.

FREE and family-friendly event perfect for this summer with more than 50 vendors attracting over 10,000 in attendance. Be a part of Bollywood style dances, classical temple dances, bhangra, music, and a live DJ to rock the square.

ENJOY THE SPICES, FLAVOURS, and AROMAS from the Indian Subcontinent. Get entertained with South Asian dances, music, and soak into the culture without having to worry about getting Visas or expensive flight tickets.

In the heart of downtown and Toronto’s signature venue, TASTE OF INDIA food festival offers you the opportunity to explore hundreds of local and Indian gourmet food recipes inspired by regions from South Asia – no passport required!

“At School of Flavours we believe that Food is more than nourishment. It is a repository of culture, a carrier of traditions, a sign of friendship and hospitality, and of course, a symbol of celebration,” describes Ms. Rinku Shah, Founder & Director, School of Flavors.

Diverse range of participating vendors include some of the big names in the food industry like, Adrak Indian Restaurant, Bombay Chowpatty, Cabbagetown Organics, Casablanca Classics, Coconut Island, Desi-licious Kulfi, Hakka Wow!, Johnny Rocco’s Pizza Wagon, Keshav Foods, Chef Sanjeev Kapoor’s Khazana (Milton), Kirtida Kitchen, New Vanni Market, Truly Nature, Royal Paan (Dream Crest Rd.), Vijay Icecream, White Gold Sweets, to name a few.
