48-Hour Smartphone Film Challenge Audience Choice – Better Half
TSFF 2023 took place on June 16th and 17th, 2023 at Innis Town Hall, featuring 14 films from 8 countries that competed for awards this year. In addition, TSFF presented films from the annual 48-Hour Smartphone Film Challenge and a special presentation of selections from KPSFF (Korean Parallel Smartphone Film Festival) and YISFF (Yecheon International Smartphone Film Festival) was featured on the final day of TSFF 2023.
Mingu Kim, Festival Director at TSFF, shared his thoughts on celebrating the festival’s 11th year. “It feels great to be back to where we started from and we had a great opportunity to meet with our filmmakers and participants who made tremendous efforts to be the stars of the festival. There is room to grow and we will continue to work on bringing communities together and giving more opportunities to emerging filmmakers who are willing to experiment with smartphone filmmaking.”
