Toronto, On: The CaribbeanTales’ Micro-Credentials for Black Media Professionals has released their Production Manager Course.
The Production Manager performs the administrative and clerical tasks for a production company and/or film crew. Through this course, participants will gain a vast range of knowledge and insight on what planning and organizing happens ahead of and during production.
The course will be instructed by Mark Allyene, an active production manager in the industry who has also had vast experience working as a locations manager. He has been in the business from the early 90s, working his way in the industry from music videos to commercials and eventually entering into Film & Television.
CaribbeanTales’ Micro-Credentials for Black Media Professionals is a unique program that harnesses the expertise of experienced Black screen-based media industry professionals. Target at Emerging Filmmakers, the Program aims to fill a critical gap providing accessible online tools for skills development. This increases the employability of the program’s participants and the number of qualified Black Professionals in various critical roles in the industry.
