Mississauga: (June 4, 2017) – Trillium Health Partners Foundation hosted the 5th annual Scotia bank Better Together Bed Race today at Mississauga Celebration square in support of Trillium Health partners.
The teams participated in the parade and race were:

The award for the Best Bed was presented to Team Clot Busters -THP Stroke Unit . This Award was chosen by a panel of judges, based on bed decor, complexity of design and originality of theme.
Racing a designated opponent, bed race teams compete for the fastest time. The team with the best time this year was Peel Police Dream Team and they defeated their opponent Scotia bank to be crowned with gold helmets. They received the annual Bed Pan Trophy for the fast bed!
The Scotia bank Better Together Bed Race has raised over $610,000 in four years for Trillium Health Partners. Funds raised will support the hospital’s highest priorities that help to provide essential care for the over 1.6 million annual patient visits received and the 2.4 million to serve in our community.

There’s tons of fun for the whole family! Hundreds Cheered on their favorite team at the bed races, enjoyed live music, kids stroller derby, games, prizes and so much more.
With every $5 donation, participants received a festivities wristband that included a BBQ lunch and a chance to win great prizes! Park admission was FREE.
