Annai Thantha Illam Foundation (ATI Foundation) is a nonprofit cross-disability organization that empowers Canadian Tamils with disabilities to realize their potential and achieve their goals. Since our foundation in 2014, our mission has continued to be focused on providing a nexus of support for both the Canadian Tamils, who face challenges with mental and physical conditions, but also their caregivers, who are often in need of respite and supportive care.  For the past two years, ATI has been running a weekly day-program called DAILI (Differently Abled Independent Living Initiative) for this disabled community, which has been a highly successful venture supported by volunteer donations from our sponsors. Through the program, we hire professionals in order to provide support services for our clients, including training affected individuals to perform day-to-day functions and engage in occupational and recreational activities.

The purpose of this Program is to raise funds to provide services for individuals with disabilities. And all the proceeds will go towards funding projects for ATI Foundation.
For the past two years, ATI has been running a weekly day-program called DAILI (Differently Abled Independent Living Initiative) during the summer for two months. Through the program, we are able to hire professionals in order to provide support services for our clients, including training affected individuals to perform day-to-day functions, engage in occupational and recreational activities, and provide employment training. Our goal is to expand our current program to a full-year program for our clients. The DAILI project focusses on exceptional individuals over the age of twenty-one who are not able to attend the public education system and ATI hopes to assist their transition of graduating from the public education system, by providing support services that can increase independence and keep them active in the community.
